Diploma or Equivalent RequiredExperience1 Year sterile processing experience PreferredLicenses and CertificationsCSPDT - Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician 2 Years Required OrCBSPD - Certification Board for Sterile Processing & Distribution 2 Years Required OrCRCST - Certified Registered Central Service Technician 2 Years RequiredWhat You Will DoPerforms scanning of instrument trays for location and creation of count sheet/label.Demonstrates proper assembly technique for instrument trays.Demonstrates wrapping/containing of instruments/tray.Performs scanning of instrument trays to track location using the instrument tracking system.Demonstrates decontamination process according to policy and procedure.
