DescriptionFinancial AnalystOne of our top clients, a national wholesale / distribution organization is seeking a Financial Analyst for their corporate headquarters. Our client is looking for Financial Analyst with 2+ years of experience that can thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment and wants to advance quickly in their career. This is a highly visible role interacting with field operations and senior leadership. Main responsibilities will include data mining, data analysis, forecasting, financial modeling, KPI’s, product pricing and analysis.As Financial Analyst your responsibilities will include but not be limited to leading the budgeting and forecasting process, data mining and gathering financial information from field operations, analyzing trends and product analysis, preparing financial reports for key analysis and business decisions and will support various special projects and ad-hoc reports.Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and MBA or CPA is a plus. 2+ years of financial modeling, financial analysis, and budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis and forecasting and financial reporting. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company

BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
Spreadsheet and ERP system experience is ideal, but not required

Background in financial analysis and planning
Skill with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
Able to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds
Excellent problem-solving skills
Financial analysis experience desired
Quality experience with Tableau
Actual Variance Analysis experience
Proven knowledge of budgeting
Foundational knowledge in Analyze Variance
Deep understanding of Ledger Account Analysis
Practical knowledge of SAP
Account analysis experience
Well-founded grasp of budget forecasting
General familiarity with Microsoft Excel
