Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer in Farmers Branch, Texas. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for supporting a high volume trial docket within the legal industry. Your work will include drafting motions, conducting legal research and writing, handling client intake and correspondence, and providing litigation support.Responsibilities: Support high volume trial docket by managing, organizing, and updating relevant legal documents Draft Motions for various legal proceedings to assist the legal team Conduct comprehensive legal research and compile findings for review Write legal documents, briefs, opinions, and other legal texts as required Manage client intake process, ensuring all necessary information is collected and processed Maintain regular correspondence with clients, keeping them informed about their case Provide litigation support, including preparing for hearings and trials Utilize legal software such as 3M, Case Management Software, LexisNexis, and Legal software to streamline work processes Handle complaints and administer claims in accordance with industry standards Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all legal documents are in compliance with applicable lawsSkills: Proficiency in Case Management Software, Legal software, LexisNexis, and Management System Experience in Briefing, Civil Litigation, Claim Administration, Complaint Handling, and Documentation Licensed AttorneyRequirements Holds a valid license to practice law Proficient in the use of legal software such as LexisNexis, 3M, Case Management Software, and Management System Demonstrated experience in civil litigation and claim administration Competent in handling complaints and proficient in documentation Has a strong understanding of briefing practices and procedures Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role or in a legal environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines Exceptional organizational and time-management skills High level of integrity and professional accountability Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
