Freight Exchange is looking for a driver to help us run our local operation here in the great city of EL PASO!
Here's some information about the position.
Drive a tractor-trailer on assigned routes in compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations as well as company policies to transport various materials in a safe and timely manner
Inspection of proper loading and freight securement to prevent movement and allow safe transport. Notify shipper/loader if deemed unsafe for transport.
Assist in re-stacking, loading, and unloading of freight only as instructed/needed
Sweep out trailers daily; keep equipment clean
Maintain and provide required pickup/delivery paperwork (Bill of Ladings)
Maintain accurate records and logs
Perform vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance before, during, and after trips
Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays when needed, morning starts! Time and half after 40 hours. Full benefits after 30 days!
Will you qualify?
2 Years of experience required
No more than 3 moving violations
No more than 3 preventable accidents
No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
