We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gasoline Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair preferably on all makes. This role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing various automotive systems, including powertrain and electrical systems. The technician will also be responsible for ensuring that vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive vehicle maintenance and repairs, focusing on powertrain systems and automotive electrical systems.
Diagnose issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems before they become major issues.
Maintain accurate records of all services performed and parts used.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques to enhance service quality.
Requirements
Proven experience in automotive repair and maintenance, with a preference for experience on various makes.
Strong knowledge of powertrain systems, automotive electrical systems, and general vehicle maintenance practices.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
Ability to transmit technical information clearly to team members and customers.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Relevant certifications or training in automotive technology is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour with the minimum of 5 years of experience. potentially up to $30 for a technician with a lot more experience. Experience must be up to date.
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule: Monday-Friday

Experience:
Automotive repair: 5 years as a General Automotive technician at a Independent or Franchise Repair Shop. (Required) ( Not Lube Tech must be a general technician )
Requirements:
License/Certification: Not required but is a positive.
Driver's License (Required)
Must have the Ability to Commute
