Project Manager

The construction project manager role will consist of planning, scheduling, directing, manages, and provides oversight of assigned design and heavy highway construction projects to ensure that project goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed schedule and budget parameters. Effectively communicates with project owner (TxDOT), management, contractors, suppliers and field staff. Provides internal and external coordination and collaboration with project partners and stakeholders. The position requires considerable judgment and latitude in performing job duties and is expected to function effectively with minimal to moderate direct supervision. This includes traveling to the project sites as required to ensure production and coordination requirements are met.
