Inventory Clerk - 1st Shift $12.75/HR

Position Summary: Responsible for ensuring inventory integrity by analyzing inventory discrepancies. Results in analysis must lead the inventory clerk to make accurate adjustments. Responsible for overseeing receiving process to ensure inventory integrity. Manage the inventory for space requirements, obsolescence, location, organization, and over stock. Responsible for coordinating annual Physical Inventory activities.

Essential Job Functions:

Analyze inventory discrepancies and make adjustments based on investigative reports.

Analysis requires involvement with customer service, and manufacturing personnel.

Maintain monthly metrics and inventory reports, and conduct meetings for inventory discrepancies.

Coordinate and review cycle counts and negative inventories.

Oversee receiving function and take action when necessary (i.e. contact suppliers for packing slips, etc.)

Coordinate the finished product returns material process.

Coordinate inventory adjustments for customer returns.

Monitor and implement processes to control inventory discrepancies such as customer returns, warehouse discrepancies, receipts from finished goods from plant.

Coordinate the annual physical inventory activities such as pre-API clean up, training and reporting.

Coordinate SAP reports

Interface with plants and EPDC personnel.

Other duties may be assigned.

SHIFT: Monday – Friday Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMPAY: $12.75 per hour

Qualifications: 2 years of general office experience required 1 year of customer service experience required Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. High School diploma or equivalent required Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required AS400 experience preferred Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.Physical Requirements: The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
