Job description:
Using a variety of hand & power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble/test devices.
Knowledge Profile (Skills and Qualifications):
1. Experience in wire harness manufacturing (Preferred)
2. Experience and knowledgeable in the use of common measuring devices, such as Calipers, Micrometers, Multimeters, and Tape Measures
3. Quality inspection of cables and wire harnesses
4. Team Player
5. Math Skills
6. Soldering experience strongly desired.
7. High school diploma or equivalent.
8. Bilingual a plus (English and Spanish)
Specific job functions:
Crimping, cutting wire, shrink tubing, printing labels, insert connectors, potting, soldering, etc.
Can perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all or most of them rather
than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis
Supplying or holding materials or tools
Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures.
Perform quality checks on products and parts.
Enforce safety and sanitation regulations.
Extensive use of basic hand tools - will be expected to set-up, operate and maintain power tools, and equipment.
Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
Physical Requirements:
Ability to use hands to handle or feel.
Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach within hands and arm’s length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Specific vision requirements include close vision and color vision.
