Maintenance Technician El Paso, TX
We are looking for a responsible, self-motivated, and reliable Maintenance Technician to become part of our team. You will be responsible for managing and completing all assigned work for a multi-family apartment complex. You will be responsible to oversee the day-to-day activities of the property.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Plumbing, electrical and other mechanical inspections.
Work on turning over of all vacant units within 5-days.
Install and repair appliances.
Work on work orders that don’t need to be vended out including: drywall, plumbing, electrical, AC, flooring, carpentry, tile, painting etc.
Enforce NORTON PLACE LLC quality standards
Perform preventive maintenance like AC air filter changes, cleaning and among many other things.
Track and record maintenance activities.
Inventory tracking of all appliances and other parts installed in every unit.
Monitor, review and inspect all jobs completed by our vendors.
Assist Community Managers with move-ins, move-outs and occasionally evictions.
Work on property exterior future projects.
Great customer service.
Review and understand company maintenance reports, identify improvement opportunities and drive performance improvement
Report and monitor maintenance deficiencies and equipment failure trends.
Attend emergency calls.
Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years professional work experience.
Some computer knowledge.
Must be able to work under pressure.
Excellent organizational and time management ability.
Excellent communication and team player.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
