Serves as a key participant with senior leadership and faculty in the implementation of the medical school curriculum.

In collaboration with Course Directors/Leadership and Associate Director create and monitor course calendar, and timelines for Learning Management System (LMS) and Canvas.

Responsible for coordinating all medical student-related activities that include, but are not limited to lectures, presentations, and interest group meetings for assigned course(s).

Scheduling of rooms appropriate for planned educational activities (e.g., lecture halls, small group rooms, labs, etc.) as requested by faculty.

As requested generate reports outlining curriculum implementation, examination results (aggregate and individual), and student/faculty evaluation results.

Responsible for obtaining final semester grades and enter them onto Banner by established deadlines. Employee will be expected to follow FERPA and HIPAA standards of confidentiality.

Participate in exam proctoring as a regular member of the ‘proctor pool’ as assigned.

Validate and/ or create Pre- Clerkship courses during roll-over period within Banner system for upcoming school year.

Monitor attendance, Canvas assignments, Remediation assignments, assure E-Portfolio professionalism statements are uploaded accordingly from the Texas Tech Assessment System (TTAS) along with professionalism Event Cards.

Work with the Information Technology (IT) Academics team towards developing new student performance tracking data for assigned course(s).

Serve as back-up for front desk as needed.

Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes.

Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSCEP’s values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Actively promote and encourage staff across the institution.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Excellent written and oral communication with strong critical thinking skills.

Ability to work as a team member and to cross-train with other program coordinators.
