As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently handling, moving, and organizing materials within our facility. This role is essential to our operations, ensuring that materials are correctly distributed to support our manufacturing processes.Responsibilities:
Load, unload, and move materials within the facility using appropriate handling equipment.
Operate forklifts and order pickers (cherry pickers) to handle materials safely and efficiently.
Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse.
Prepare materials for production and assembly lines.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
Work efficiently within the assigned shift hours, with overtime as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
REQUIRED: Must have forklift experience, with preference for order picker (cherry picker) experience.
Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a related field is preferred.
Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or under supervision.
Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy items.
