Best Express Transportation is seeking a motivated individual to be part of the BEST team! We are a fast-growing company. We are looking for a Customer Service/Dispatcher to join our team. The Customer Service/Dispatcher always assists communicating with customers and drivers, compiling, and submitting daily, accurate and timely freight information to our clients through phone, email and/or WhatsApp. Also, it keeps communication flowing with customers daily to ensure the highest customer service. Canalize rate requests to the appropriate team members. Escalate issues and concerns to the appropriate party. This position will report directly to the Operations Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for checking assigned loads.

Follow up on enroute loads and forward all appropriate and relevant information to the client.

Ensure all BOLs are sent to the client once loads are delivered.

Accountable to follow up on extra fees such as TONU, LUMPER and driver assists and to include them in the

billing documentation.

Responsible for always providing an exceptional customer service.

Update system and split loads to be delivered in El Paso area.

Manage and make efficient use of local drivers time, schedule incoming loads accordingly to deliver on time.

Accountable for trailer inventory and reports and offer local movements at slow times.

Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent Organizational and communication skills

Detail Oriented

Problem Solving

Excellent negotiation skills

Excellent customer service skills

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent education required.

Minimum of 1 year in transportation in a customer service role (required)

Minimum of 1 year in transportation in dispatch (preferred)

Experience with Prophesy (preferred)

Working knowledge of FMCSA/DOT Hours of Service Regulations

Familiarity with Electronic Log Devices (ELDs)

Must be Bilingual: English/Spanish

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Prior experience with trucking company (preferred)

Bilingual (English/Spanish) required (read, write and speak).
