Solicits quotations and drafts purchase orders on routine purchases. Assists in handling vendor and department inquiries. Prepares required documentation prior to award recommendation. Provides clarification of contracting documents. Maintains accurate electronic PO files. Analyzes assigned commodity requisitions for contract method. Prepares state reports and maintains current file on vendors, contract items, state bids. Transmits routine form letters. Updates requisition logs and departmental databases Adheres to internal controls established for department.
