Foremen:
Works closely with managers to determine deadlines, and safety protocols.
Is a leader among laborers, answering to the project superintendent and providing information to help the project run smoothly.
Manages a team of workers and communicates with all stakeholders on a construction site.
Supervises and coordinates construction workers, ensuring efficient progress, budget adherence, and safety standards.
Prepares construction estimates, monitors schedules, and ensures skilled workmanship.
Must be proficient in operating machinery.
Superintendent:
Managing project schedules
Monitoring the progress of the Construction Workers in the team
Ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available
Overseeing all construction plans and operations
Inspecting all sites
Coordinating with contractors and engineers
Managing the budget and expenditure
Purchasing necessary materials and equipment
Must know how to work in teams and Microsoft Excel.
Must be willing to travel approximately 85% of the time. Normal operations are Monday - Thursday with occasional work on Fridays. Per diem and Hotels paid for Foremen. Hotel and meals paid for Superintendents. PTO accrued weekly 3.08 hours for a total of 160 hours a year. Pay will be dependent on experience!
