POSITION SUMMARY:

The Office Manager role encompasses various responsibilities within the Palestine, TX plant, including managing the site's Human Resources (HR), ensuring effective Business Analytics, overseeing Accounting processes, handling administrative tasks, and coordinating Information Technologies (IT) functions. Essential HR duties include recruitment, benefits management, employee relations, and collaboration with corporate HR on various topics. The Office Manager also works closely with the plant and department managers to identify essential performance metrics, creating data collection and analysis systems to aid in decision-making and resource management. Additionally, this role supports local accounting functions, liaison with corporate accounting, and ensures the smooth operation of office activities while coordinating corporate IT efforts locally. The Office Manager reports directly to the Plant Manager and a dotted line to the Controller, Director of Human Resources, and Vice-President of Information Technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform and manage the Human Resources functions for the site.

Create and maintain metrics to monitor business processes and the plant's performance, providing leaders with actionable insight to facilitate decision-making in production, maintenance, warehouse, inventory, human resources, environment, health, and safety functions.

Oversee and support accounting activities and act as a liaison with corporate accounting.

Collaborate with corporate IT to support plant IT systems and IT-related employee needs.

Supervise and support the site's administrative functions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

3+ Years Experience of Supervisor level experience in the field of Human Resources required; 2+ Years Experience of Accounting or Business Analysis Experience required in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree Required in Accounting, Business, or Human Resources Management.

Strong analytical, quantitative, self-motivating, communication, leadership, organization, multi-tasking, attention-to-detail, and prioritization skills.

Experience with ERP and general ledger software (QuickBooks, GP Dynamics, SAP, etc.) and ATS (ADP Workforce Now) preferred.

Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Demonstrate knowledge of Federal and State employment laws.

Must exhibit patience, professionalism, and integrity, with the ability to maintain a high standard of confidentiality and trust.
