The Bilingual Financial Wellness Coordinator serves as a primary educator on financial wellness to members, non-members, students, and businesses within our core markets. They provide support in delivering financial education resources, coordinating events, and assisting in outreach efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead financial wellness efforts for members in each of our core markets at the credit union through various delivery methods (i.e. workshops, classroom sessions, webinars/seminars, podcasts, videos). Work with Marketing to coordinate and promote external events.
Develop, implement, and maintain financial education materials, digital content and presentations to support outreach efforts. Ensure materials are appropriately branded.
Collaborate with schools (teachers, parents, administrators) and community partners to promote financial education and develop relevant programs to meet their needs. Schools include elementary, middle, high, and college/technical schools.
Represent Altra at various educational functions including but not limited to presentations in schools, Reality Stores, orientations, etc. Responsible for coordinating volunteers/speakers for these if necessary.
Responsible for the success of Altra’s Financial Education programs. Evaluate program success through program participation, evaluation feedback and metrics, and recommend improvements based on assessment data.
Qualifications:
Must speak, read, and write in fluent Spanish.
Associate's degree in Business, Communication, or Education required. Additional experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
Minimum one (1) year of financial wellness education and events experience is required.
Strong knowledge of credit union products.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for helping people.
Availability:
This position is 40-hours a week, Monday through Friday.
Typical hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Will require some flexibility within these hours, as needed.
