Box Truck Driver
Description
· Drives the assigned route and loads donated items
· Performs a variety of general manual tasks, including but not limited to lifting and moving 50+ pounds, loading, and unloading from a box truck to a 53’ foot trailer.
· Will bag in large trash bags items such as clothes and household items.
· Drivers to transport cargo to and from the destination in the Tyler City area
· Works in the elements
· Pre and post-truck inspection and monitoring maintenance and repair of truck.
Maintain log recording of cargo weight, arrival and departure times, and miles traveled
Picking up clothing and small household items from donors' houses and collection bins. Must have a clean driving record and be able to lift up to 40-pound bags of clothing and household items. Must work some Saturdays, but will have another day off if they have to work on Saturday. Full-time driver position, will be required to pass medical D.O.T certification and drug screening. NO CDL IS REQUIRED.
