Milieu Manager

The Milieu Manager is responsible for assuring that the facility runs smoothly, supplies are being ordered, concerns are communicated to the home office and for managerial oversight of Mental Health Technicians. The Milieu Manager consults with the Program Director and the home office regarding needs/duties to be completed and works closely with the Program Director when any issues arise. The Milieu Manager is also responsible for assuring that all activities at the facility are within the Discovery Behavioral Health’s Mission.ResponsibilitiesManagement of the clinical milieu and promotion of a positive, HIPPA compliant and streamlined virtual therapeutic environment within the programEnsure treatment spaces are safe, secure, and therapeuticParticipates in the patient intake process and completes necessary paperwork with patients and familiesPlays an active role in treatment team by providing important updates for treatment team members and taking meeting minutes to publish for reviewTake notes during the weekly treatment team meeting and publish for staff to reviewProvides Milieu support and coverage as needed such as Community Meeting, psychoeducational groups, and mealsEnsures adherence by the entire staff to the program scheduleManages patient charts and completes audits in a timely mannerWorks collaboratively with the Program Director and Human Resources to ensure the program is staffed efficiently and adequatelyTracks and reports client attendanceAssists clients with technological challengesAssess clients for safety who drop out of the group unexpectedlyWork collaboratively with the treatment team to ensure effective program flowProvide additional staff support during mealtimesOn call responsibilities as neededThis is a full-time schedule working Tuesday-Saturday from 10am to 6pm.   For a virtual tour of the facility, please visit our website at discoverymood.com.
