The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will be responsible for helping oversee the food and beverage areas within the hotel. This leader will mainly support Grand Met Restaurant, Lounge, and In Room Dining but is expected to assist the Banquet operation as needed. Responsibilities may include scheduling, forecasting, training, coaching, guest relations, and ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws as well as all operating and hotel procedures/policies. Other responsibilities and tasks will be given as needed. The goal of the Restaurant Assistant Manager is to effectively and proactively monitor the daily functions of food and beverage, as well as plan for a successful future with the highest level of standards.Qualifications:
A warm and outgoing personality with a passion for customer service.
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
Refined verbal and written communication skills.
At least 1 years experience in F&B Management preferred.
Wine/Beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred.
Must be able to lift/push/pull moderate weight.
Must have flexible shift availability as well as availability to work weekends and holidays.
Ideal candidate should have high energy, strong organizational skills, motivational leadership skills, ability to provide exceptional customer service, and be an effective team player.
