Work Performed:
Dispatch company drivers to load facilities and well site locations
Knowledge of multi-state geography
Enter truck, driver, and load information to software and spreadsheets
Track loads and drivers
Communicate with drivers at regular intervals throughout each job
Identify potential service failures and works with the Drivers to resolve these problems. Communicate customer needs, and work with Maintenance to resolve mechanical issues and reduce downtime, when necessary.
Adjust dispatch plans and reallocate drivers as necessary to meet service needs (breakdowns, lateness, driver hours available, etc.)
Answer all breakdown and issue related calls in a timely manner to efficiently repair any and all breakdowns on the road.
Secure estimates on all repairs on the road and authorize repairs based on need.
Secure accurate and complete invoices for work performed on units.
Review all vendor repair orders for consistency and accuracy before payment.
Follow up on all repairs daily to insure that the job actually is completed in a timely manner.
Daily update Breakdown Report of units in service shop, providing this information to operations and fast repair. .
Other duties assigned.
