Position Overview: As an Overnight Luxury Valet Attendant at our prestigious hotel, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional level of service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Valet Service: Welcome guests upon their arrival, assist with parking their vehicles in a courteous and efficient manner, and ensure their safekeeping throughout their stay. Retrieve vehicles promptly and position them for guest departure with utmost care and attention.
2. Guest Assistance: Provide a personalized and luxurious experience by offering assistance with luggage, opening doors, and providing guidance on hotel amenities, local attractions, and services. Anticipate and fulfill guest needs, striving to exceed their expectations.
3. Safety and Security: Maintain a vigilant presence in the valet area, ensuring the security and integrity of guests' vehicles and personal belongings. Adhere to established security procedures, report any suspicious activities or incidents, and collaborate with the hotel's security team to maintain a safe environment.
4. Concierge Services: Act as a knowledgeable resource for guests, offering recommendations and making reservations for dining, entertainment, transportation, and other requested services. Provide accurate and up-to-date information with a focus on enhancing the guest experience.
5. Guest Relations: Cultivate positive relationships with guests through attentive and personalized service. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally, ensuring swift resolution and guest satisfaction.
6. Communication and Coordination: Maintain effective communication with fellow valet attendants, front desk staff, and other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences. Relay important information and guest requests accurately and efficiently.
7. Record-keeping and Documentation: Accurately document vehicle information, parking tickets, and any relevant guest details using the valet system or other designated tools. Ensure the confidentiality and secure handling of guest information.
8. Presentation and Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing valet area. Ensure that all necessary equipment, such as parking cones, signage, and valet stands, are in excellent working condition. Report any maintenance or equipment issues promptly.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in luxury hospitality or a similar customer service role is highly desirable.
Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide polished and gracious service to
discerning guests.
Impeccable grooming, presentation, and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask effectively, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest concerns or complaints with tact and diplomacy.
Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
