The service advisor position talks to the customer at the front desk in front of a computer and enters information. Prints out the work order ( for the mechanic to work on) with the customer's name address phone number etc. with the requested diagnosis of their vehicle. May include a check engine light, maybe tires, oil changes, A/C not cooling etc. The service advisor makes out repair estimates and calls the customer on the phone to advise him on the repairs it's going to require. State inspection license is a plus but not required. 1 week paid vacation after 1 yr.
