We are seeking a dependable and proactive Maintenance Associate to support the maintenance of common area assets, including parks, pools, buildings, and equipment under the direction of the Maintenance Director. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to perform general repairs, preventative maintenance, and assist with property upkeep while ensuring a safe and clean environment for the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and maintain common areas, including playgrounds, pools, buildings, tennis courts, lighting, and landscape features.
Perform minor repairs such as plumbing fixes (leaky faucets, toilets) and electrical tasks (replacing light bulbs, switches).
Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and systems, including HVAC, pool equipment, and aeration systems for lake fountains.
Assist with event setups and breakdowns, and respond to after-hours emergency requests.
Communicate maintenance needs and updates to the Maintenance Director.
Collaborate with the Lifestyle Director and other staff to maintain property safety and cleanliness.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid Driver’s License.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks (walking, driving).
Skills:
Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
Dependable, responsible, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Competent in general maintenance tasks and familiar with tools and equipment.
Work Environment:
Requires outdoor property assessments, moderate noise levels, and exposure to various weather conditions.
