I recently purchased a wonderful home in Plano, TX, and am updating the kitchen and bathrooms (the home was built in the late 80s). I need help with the following:
- Taking the existing wood oak kitchen cabinets up to the ceiling and adding crown molding at the top (also perhaps adding some glass doors on a few of the existing or new cabinets). The entire kitchen (including all cabinets) will later be painted or stained by a professional painter.
- Taking some of the bathroom cabinetry up the ceiling with trim at the top (oak).
- Putting up baseboard, crown molding, and wainscoting/decorative wall panels in the guest bedroom.
- Baseboard touch-ups where the wood floor installers had to cut into the existing baseboard to install the new floors.
I am looking for a skilled, professional, and experienced tradesman who is looking for some extra work or wants to make some extra money during the week or weekend. I do not wish to go the route of hiring a contractor who then subs out the work and takes a cut. Please only apply if you can provide professional examples of previous work and experience (including pictures). If you give me a fair bid, I am willing to pay you in cash for the entire project.
