Job Summary

We are looking for individuals to join our client’s team as Maintenance Technician. You will maintain facility, manufacturing equipment and fork-lift equipment and may work alone or with a crew. You must be a well-rounded individual who can perform on a variety of equipment types, perform building maintenance, and have fork-lift basic mechanical experience.

Job Description

Repair malfunctioning equipment to get production running again when down

Perform electrical systems troubleshooting on a variety of equipment

Multiple equipment control panels

Quality check equipment regularly as part of preventative maintenance program

Maintain in house / minor building plumbing systems

Maintain inspection and repair schedules

Advise purchasing manager for purchases as needed

Train employees in proper equipment usage

Act as on-call handyman when needed

Execute a LOTO for all energized machines

Skills Required

Welding experience a plus but not required

Parts fabrication experience a plus but not required

Pneumatic experience a plus but not required

Fork-lift (light) maintenance

Strong critical thinking and creative skills

Detail oriented with organizational skills

Thorough working knowledge of facility equipment, usage, and safety procedures; OSHA safety a plus

LOTO experience

Specialized tools provided, must bring own tools

Ability to manage time and responsibilities independently

Must have a flexible schedule

Additional Requirements

The individual will be trained on the first shift (2-3 weeks) then move to the second shift

First shift hours 6am to 2:30 pm Mon to Fri

Second shift: 3:30 pm to midnight

Pay rate/Salary

Starting at $22.00 per hour and more depending on experience.
