Lyles DeGrazier is seeking a highly skilled and experienced bench jeweler with a strong focus on diamond setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for precision and craftsmanship, and a proven history of success in a fast-paced jewelry environment.
Responsibilities:
Setting a variety of large diamonds & colored stones-including different shapes (round, princess, emerald, marquise, etc.)
Performing all aspects of diamond setting, including prong, bezel, channel, and pave settings.
Must be proficient with cleaning castings and laser work.
Ensuring the highest quality and precision in all work including: custom bridal, jewelry repairs, fabrication and restoration.
Meeting deadlines and production goals.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM of 5 years of experience as a bench jeweler.
Proven expertise in diamond setting techniques.
Strong hand-eye coordination and excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using jewelry-making tools and equipment (including a laser and microscope).
