DCG Electric Corp is seeking energetic, motivated apprentices to join our growing team! This is a fantastic opportunity for high school and college students, as well as individuals looking to start or advance their careers in the electrical trade. Position Overview
As an apprentice, you’ll assist with various residential and commercial electrical projects. You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced electricians, with opportunities for advancement. Work is available immediately, with part-time shifts in the afternoons and weekends for those with flexible schedules.
Candidate Requirements
Education: High school and college students are eligible to apply.
Availability: Must be punctual and available to work from 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM and on weekends when needed.
Experience: Some electrical installation experience required; two years of experience is a plus.
Skills: Construction experience is a bonus.
Tools: Must have your own hand tools and tool belt.
License: Valid driver’s license required.
Physical Ability: Capable of lifting and performing physical tasks per trade standards.
Work Ethic: Energetic, intelligent, responsible, and eager to learn.
Ambition: Must have a desire to earn a living and advance in the electrical trade.
Assessment: Applicants will be required to complete a short skills assessment and participate in an in-person tryout with our master electrician.
