We are seeking an auto body technician to join our team! As an Automotive Body Repairer, you will assist with repairing vehicles, managing multiple repair projects at once, and working closely with coworkers to ensure work is completed properly and on time. The ideal candidate has previous autobody experience, excellent customer service and communication skills, and strong attention to detail.
Job Description:
Bodywork Tech: Sanding, Transitioning, Filler application, Dent repair, Shaping & Contouring.
Metal Fabricator: Full panel replacement, Patch panels, Panel fabrication - Prep, Welding & Finish
Painter Helper: Paint Prep & Paint Finish (Wet Sand, Buff & Polish)
Must be able to:
Performs quality repairs; while keeping in mind on-time status
Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools
Bolt or weld replacement parts in position using power tools and welding equipment
Use special equipment to restore damaged metal frames and body sections back to original specifications
Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle and fenders
Hours and compensation
Monday – Friday 8-5
Hourly depending on experience, skills and past work history.
$18.00 an hour and up
