Pro Black Belt Academy is hiring a Chief Instructor to lead daily operations, deliver top-notch classes, and build a thriving student community at our new studio.
We serve students of all ages through structured martial arts classes, after-school programs, and summer camps. As Chief Instructor, you’ll lead classes, oversee student progress, mentor junior staff, and build lasting connections with families and the local community — all while setting the standard of professionalism, accountability, and a strong work ethic.
We’re looking for an experienced Instructor who leads by example on the mat, loves working with kids and knows how to run an organized, positive, and high-performing studio.
Responsibilities:
-Lead engaging, curriculum-based martial arts classes for all students
-Oversee day-to-day class flow and ensure high-quality instruction
-Develop and mentor junior instructors and assistant staff
-Conduct introductory lessons, studio tours, and enrollment consultations with prospective families
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe training environment
-Represent the studio at community events, demonstrations, and local outreach activities
-Support after-school programs, seasonal camps, and weekend belt testing
-Drive student retention and new enrollments through excellent instruction and service

Schedule:
- Full-time: Typically 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Some weekend availability required for belt testing and events
- Extended hours during summer camps (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM) supported by your Program Director and Assistants.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1st-degree black belt in Taekwondo/Karate or a comparable martial art
- Demonstrated leadership and class management experience
- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with children and parents alike
- Confident handling sales conversations, new student enrollments, and studio tours
- Proactive, reliable, and motivated to grow both the student base and instructor team
- Background check required
