D & L Entertainment Services is NOW HIRING an unarmed Security Officer to work part-time at a Downtown Dallas Hotel.
The unarmed Security Officer will ensure the safety of patron in the hotel and parking lot area. We currently have one position available.
Role #1: Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am
For this position we will compensate officers working in this role at a rate of $16.00 per hour.
Responsibilities:
Assist patrons in the hotel, on the hotel grounds and in the parking area in feeling safe and secure
May perform duties including handling routine and emergency calls, disseminating information to the appropriate
parties, coordinating activities with other agencies and/or emergency services
Provide low-level security while patrolling
Keeps records and makes detailed reports
Performs other duties as assigned
Must already possess a State of Texas issued - Level II Security Guard Card
Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be 18 years of age
Professional appearance and demeanor
Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
Able to pass all criminal history background checks
Exceptional customer service skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to plan and organize effectively
Experience working with diverse individuals and communities
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
