SecureTech Systems is an established manufacturer, with over 30 years of experience and is a market leader in its field. We are looking to fill the position of Technician. SecureTech Systems develops, manufactures, sets up, and maintains wireless instant notification systems in government facilities, schools, hospitals, hotels, prisons, etc. This position requires a combination of basic IT understanding, basic security alarm understanding, and a willingness to learn and adapt. This is NOT a typical alarm installation job. We utilize proprietary software and hardware for a niche product targeted at public agencies such as courts and schools. You will travel extensively across the United States to set up systems. Training will be provided.

Requirements:
Understanding of basic security systems.
Understanding of basic electrical wiring, polarity, NO/NC applications, etc.
Self-starter, able to travel and work independently.
Reasonable understanding of electronics and electronic equipment.
Skilled in basic electronic troubleshooting.
Outstanding communication and customer service skills with a desire to leave customers fully satisfied.
Clean Texas driver’s license.
Able to pass a federal background check.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
Attention to detail and the desire to pursue excellence and not mediocrity.
Ability and desire to complete jobs to a professional standard.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to travel up to 80% of the time.
Able to use basic tools such as a multi-meter, soldering iron, level, and drill.
Preferences:
Experience with 2-way radios.
Understanding of basic analog telephones and AV equipment.
Familiarity with Linux.
