Security Officer Manufacturing Facility
Reports to: HR Manager
Job Summary:
The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at Manufacturing facility. This role involves monitoring access points, patrolling the premises, responding to security incidents, and enforcing company policies to protect employees, visitors, and assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Control and monitor access to the facility, ensuring only authorized personnel enter.
Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify security risks and prevent unauthorized activities.
Operate and monitor security cameras, alarm systems, and other surveillance equipment.
Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies, and escalate situations as needed.
Report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and security breaches to the HR Manager.
Maintain accurate and detailed security logs, reports, and incident records.
Assist with investigations of security-related incidents.
Ensure compliance with all company security policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with employees, visitors, and law enforcement when necessary.
Support emergency response procedures, including fire drills, evacuations, and crisis management situations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1+ years of security, law enforcement, or related experience preferred.
Strong observational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Basic knowledge of security systems, surveillance equipment, and access control.
Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to stand and patrol for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in high-pressure situations.
