The Low-Voltage Tech Lead will run and terminate fiber and copper cabling. Ideally this person will have a BICSI or FOA certification. Must have experience testing with fluke or OTDR. Ideally will have fusion splicing experience.
This role is heavy travel. Probably 80%+ of your time traveling to various sites across the US. The work could include a warehouse, distribution center, big box store, gas station, retail chain, etc. Must be able to lead a small crew of techs and work with the end client.
This is a W2 contract to hire role, ultimately long term. It is 40 hours a week with upward career potential as well. The client is a global systems integrator who does much more than just low voltage cabling.
The Implementation Specialist is a senior level technician who provides technical direction to the deployment team in accordance to the company's deployment practices and guidelines. 5+ years of Low Voltage Technician experience.
5 years of experience installing copper and fiber optic structured cabling systems.
Installing, servicing, and integrating a variety of low voltage systems including fiber optic, copper, cabling, Cat5 / Cat6, IDF/MDF, server racks, Intrusion Alarms, Video Surveillance, Card Access, Telephone Systems, Data Networks, and more.
