Job Description:Key Responsibilities• Supports the design and development of program methods, processes and systems to consolidate and analyze structured and unstructured, diverse "big data" sources• Interfaces with internal customers for requirements analysis and compiles data for scheduled or special reports and analysis• Preparing data for prescriptive and predictive modeling• Create new data validation methods• Convert raw data into usable information for data scientists and business analysts to interpret.• Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several projectsRequirements• BTech/ MTech in Computer Science, IT, or similar field• Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role• Hands on experience in SQL.• In-depth knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, and similar frameworks.• Experience in agile development methodologies is a must• Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques• Knowledge on cloud technologies or tools.• Working knowledge of R and/or Python is preferred• Adequate knowledge of data structures, algorithms and other foundational concepts of Computer Science• Ability to solve complex networking, data, and software issues.• Data engineering certification is a plus• Fundamental knowledge of big data handling methods and practices
