Business Operations Manager
Job Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for handling the business functions, human resources, marketing, and overall document control for the company. The business operations manager handles and or oversees payroll, accounts receivable/payable, the companies standard operating procedures, and daily functions. Additionally answers phone calls, receives email/mail correspondence and routes appropriately.
Essential Requirements:
Proven work experience as a business manager, administrator, or a similar role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel, project, power point, outlook etc.)
Ensure the office is always kept clean and organized.
Attend weekly Project Meetings.
Solid time management abilities with an ability to prioritize tasks.
Excellent verbal and written correspondence.
Must be able to work some hours out of Monday-Friday 8-5PM.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to identify deficient work and provide resolution.
Maintains Administrative workflow by studying processes, implementing cost reductions in developing reporting procedures.
Having an innovation mindset.
Serves as a liaison with Technical Support staff for office equipment, softwares, etc.
Administrative writing and editing skills.
Schedules in- house and external meetings.
Manage and orders office supplies.
Become proficient in the use of project management/accounting softwares such as buildertrend and jobtrend .
Proficient in invoicing and invoice management.
Organizes company's documents into online filing systems.
Prepares presentations spreadsheets and reports.
Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to clients needs; Solicits clients feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.
Quantity - Meets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to increase productivity; Works effectively.
Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.
Works with complete confidentiality regarding internal company information.

Education and/or Experience:
Minimum of three years of verifiable experience, thorough knowledge of administrative duties and be computer literate. Experience in construction/ development is preferred. Office experience of quickbooks, CRM software, and Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Project & Outlook) is also preferred. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of clients or employees of organization. Degree in business administration, accounting, finance or other related fields is not required, but is an advantage.
Compensation is dependent upon experience.
