The Operations Coordinator/Technology Generalist is responsible for coordinating resources, tasks, and vendor efforts for small technology initiatives, such as swapping out UPS units in data centers. This role requires someone with general technology knowledge as well as basic project management knowledge who can manage follow-ups with internal and external team members, ensure communication with all applicable team members and stakeholders, and confirm all necessary tasks are completed efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Work with internal and external team members to gather necessary information pertinent to new small initiatives.
Manage assigned small projects/initiatives.
Work directly with teams and team members to coordinate scheduling.
Track equipment delivery schedules.
Maintain accurate project information and communicate updates to all necessary stakeholders.
Monitor task progress and drive to deadlines, escalate accordingly if problems are foreseen or encountered.
Education and Experience:
2+ years of related experience in managing or coordinating technology projects.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
Strong interpersonal and meeting facilitation skills.
Ability to coordinate tasks across multiple team members efficiently.
Good organizational skills; detailed oriented.
Excellent communication both oral and written.
Self-motivated and desire to succeed.
Duration:6 months minimum with potential contract to hire
Schedule: Onsite 5x/week for first 2-3 weeks then Hybrid 3x/on and 2x/remote.
