Full-cycle payroll functions, including but not limited to:
Preparation and processing of employee and contractor payroll
Certified payroll reporting into client’s portal (government-funded projects)
Review and ensure accuracy of daily work reports
Track and deduct all garnishments, payroll deductions and employee reimbursements.
Calculation and submission of agency payments: quarterly taxes, etc.
Establish and maintain payroll records: rate changes, tax status, direct deposit
Provide exceptional customer service during daily interactions with office and field personnel
Enjoy working independently but happy to be a part of our team
Provide backup support to Accounts Payable when needed
Special projects as assigned by management
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalency
2+ years of experience supporting in-house payroll and certified payroll reporting
1+ years QuickBooks Online preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Problem solving and analytical skills.
Team player who contributes and works with others to accomplish results.
An eye for detail and respecting the need for accuracy when it comes to employee’s pay
Highly organized, meticulous, and able to multi-task.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on MS Excel.
Maintains a "can do" attitude.
Spanish fluency preferred
