Description
Our client is a family-owned aluminum extrusion company that has been in business for over 40 years and takes good care of their employees, providing additional training and growth opportunities.
This position is responsible for all production requirements in regard to compliance with correct packing/fabrication procedures.
Requirements:
Ability to read blueprints.
Minimum of one year of experience in a leadership capacity in a manufacturing environment.
Duties:
Responsible for reading blueprints as necessary.
Ensure material quality is acceptable (check dimensions-hardness-contour-cut lengths).
Coordinate and pack orders in a manner that insure on-time delivery to customers.
Responsible for all areas of departmental safety compliance.
Coordinate training of all new hires and assign to teams for best efficiency.
Oversee packing teams to ensure all product is packed per customer’s specification.
Work with other departments on scheduling and quality issues.
Responsible for overall management of employees; training, coaching, counseling, conducting/participating in departmental and/or plant-wide meetings.
