HOURS OF POSITION ARE 3:15PM-11:15PM MONDAY-FRIDAY

The Role:
Perform tasks directly related to the machining of graphite, silicon carbides, and other specialty materials
In this role you will:
Operate hand tools, precision measuring equipment, and computers, (desktop and machine control varieties)
Operate powered machine tools such as vertical CNC mills, manual and CNC lathes, surface and centerless grinders, cup grinders, bandsaws, and other machining equipment;
Set up and run non-routine and complex parts;
Complete machining tasks within a customer job.
Routinely perform initial setup on new parts;
May be tasked with preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties.
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
High School Diploma or equivalent;
Able to run most machines, included complex;
Able to read and write the English language;
Astute attention to detail to drive Safety and Quality;
Possess math and precision measurement skills and able to read machine drawings;
Possess advanced knowledge of machining methods;
Ability to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE);
Able to pass pre-employment physical;
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs daily;
Experience in working in an ISO 9001/14001/45001 environment a plus;
Candidate must have the capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws;
Dependable with flexibility to work shifts, over-time, and weekends to support business needs.
