Are you an experienced Industrial or Commercial Painter looking to work with a company that values craftsmanship, safety, and growth? Join our skilled team in the Industrial Paint department and join our high-performance custom metal fabrication and coating department!

Do you have 2-5+ years of experience working in industrial or commercial painting, I.E, metal fabrication coatings, control panels, sheet metal enclosures, etc.

Our client is a 44-year-old industry leader in the design, manufacture, and assembly of electrical controls, electrical enclosures, irrigation pumps and controls, municipal and commercial pump stations, water purification systems, and design-to-order metal fabrications. We serve a variety of industries with standard and custom products, including water pumping, oil production-drill and refining controls, wastewater treatment, conveying, baggage conveying, handling, process control, and more.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

2-5 years of industrial/commercial painting experience

Experience with pressure pots

Ability to review blueprints and job specification sheets

Ability to pass paint applications and thickness tests

Read, write, speak, and understand English - Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Strong attention to detail

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled facility with exposure to paint fumes, chemicals, and noise

Apply paint and protective coatings to metal fabrications per specifications

Mix and apply various coatings, including (Alkyds, epoxies, gel coats, powder coats)

Conduct quality checks using testing equipment such as thickness gauges and holiday testers

Follow EPA and OSHA safety and environmental standards

Read and interpret blueprints and drawings

Ability to identify and address surface prep issues, weld defects, and paint repairs

Coordinate drying space and material layout with leadership

19 - 25 per hour

Monday - Thursday 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Opportunities for Optional / Mandatory overtime
