Your Role:

As a Legal Receptionist, you are the initial point of contact for clients, making a lasting impression whether in person or over the phone.

We prioritize attention to detail in both your work and professional appearance, emphasizing a consistently professional attitude both inside and outside the firm. Given the nature of our clientele, previous experience with legal filing, indexing, recognizing various legal documents, and drafting is crucial. Handling high-profile clients, including celebrities, athletes, C-level executives, or pilots, requires a commitment to ensuring privacy and delivering superior service. A non-disclosure agreement is mandatory upon hiring.

Key Responsibilities:

Answering and directing phone calls and media inquiries

Processing client payments

Welcoming and assisting new and existing clients

Coordinating consultation appointments with senior attorneys

Maintaining office appearance, enhancing the client experience, and managing office supplies

Processing legal filings and drafting fee agreements for new clients

For experienced paralegals, additional paralegal duties may be assigned. Pre-employment background checks, reference verification, and online assessments prior to the first and second interviews are mandatory to ensure the best fit for both you and the firm.

Compensation and Benefits: This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20-$25 based on experience. The standard 8-hour shift falls within office hours from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional paid overtime.

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should have:

Some college education (preferred)

Paralegal certificate or prior law firm experience (a plus)

Previous experience working with new customers/clients

Law firm or other professional office experience

Ability to lift and carry 20-30lbs for short distances
