Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper & House Assistant to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization for a luxury 3-bedroom Airbnb property in Dallas. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong time management skills, and a commitment to providing an outstanding guest experience. The ideal candidate is flexible, reliable, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure a spotless and welcoming environment.
Compensation:
$170 per cleaning
$30 per house call or guest delivery
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cleaning Duties:
Clean and prepare 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, ensuring all spaces meet a high standard of cleanliness.
Maintain common areas, including the living room, kitchen, dining area, stairs, and patio, ensuring all spaces are spotless and organized.
Wash, dry, and neatly arrange all linens (sheets, towels, bath mats).
2. Quality Control:
Double-check all areas for cleanliness and organization before leaving the property.
Send photos of cleaned rooms, made beds, and common areas to confirm completion.
3. Guest-Ready Presentation:
Make all beds with fresh linens and hotel-style corners.
Arrange towels (1 bath towel, 1 face towel per guest, plus extras in bathrooms).
Ensure all rooms and common spaces look like a luxury showroom.
4. On-Call Assistance:
Be available for occasional after-hours guest requests or emergencies (e.g., delivering items or resolving issues).
Detailed Cleaning Checklist:
Common Areas:
Living Room:
Vacuum furniture, rugs, and any fabric items.
Dust and sanitize surfaces, coffee tables, and shelves.
Kitchen/Dining:
Wipe down counters, dining tables, and appliances.
Empty expired fridge items and clean interior surfaces.
Clean microwave, oven, and stove top (use self-clean when necessary).
Sweep and Swiffer floors.
Restock paper towels and trash bags.
Laundry:
Clean washer and dryer (wipe tops, empty lint trap).
Ensure laundry area is organized.
Patios:
Straighten cushions and check the surrounding area.
Ensure the outdoor space looks clean and inviting.
Bedrooms:
Replace linens and make all beds neatly with fresh sheets.
Vacuum rugs and clean under beds.
Provide towels (1 large towel + 1 face towel per guest).
Bathrooms:
Remove all hair from surfaces and floors.
Sanitize showers, sinks, mirrors, and toilets.
Provide fresh towels and restock toilet paper (ensure extra rolls are visible).
Check and clean bath mats as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles.
Extremely detail-oriented and able to follow a checklist.
Must own a smartphone (preferably an iPhone) for communication and photo updates.
Reliable transportation for on-call tasks and guest-related errands.
Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and after-hours if needed.
