HORSE FACILITY SEEKING STAFF!
SUMMER CAMP COUNSELOR - Seeking individual who has had prior experience with teaching horse camps for both Western and English beginner riders. Must be 18 years of age or older. Must have horseback riding experience as well as working with children. Must be reliable, dependable, patient, have good problem solving skills, own transportation and live within 10 miles of facility location in East Fort Worth. Camps begin last week in May and run through first week in August. Established camp program in operation for over 18 years. Camp hours will be Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM -2:00.
HORSE PARTIES AND EVENTS - Looking for an outgoing individual who is good with the general public as well as kids to help host our children's, families, and adult parties at our facility. Hostess assists with directing the activities and providing hospitality to guests, food set-up, making ready the outdoor part of the grounds. Organizing the party supplies, and assisting when needed with horses. Individual may help by giving lead-line rides for guests. Individual should be a decision making, take-charge, friendly individual. Should have worked around horses enough to assist other helpers when needed getting horses ready and assisting guests where needed. Individual must be 20 years old or older, be reliable, responsible, and a good communicator, and have own transportation and live within10 miles of the facility.
WESTERN/ENGLISH RIDING INSTRUCTOR - Looking for a part-time to full-time instructor to join our growing team. Ideal candidate should have both basic English and Western experience and riding skills. Teaching experience children through adults. Independent contractor. Basic Western pleasure and horsemanship. Trails on property. English riding with beginners through trotting poles and jumping very small jumps. Must be 20 years old and older. Responsible, reliable, good communication skills. Able to work under supervision. Ideal candidate should live within 12 miles of the facility. Able to work under pressure. Great established program and great lesson horses, work tea.
Flexible schedule, but most lessons are on weekday afternoons, late, and weekends.
