Full job description
Entry Level Laborer
We are looking to hire a detail oriented motivated individual to work alongside a lead technician, assisting with repair, maintenance, and construction of cooling towers. The work will consist of repair and replacement of components such as heat transfer media, bearings, gear reducers, electric motors, drive shafts, belts, preventive maintenance and more. The work will take place at commercial and industrial facilities. The ability to travel out of state may be required depending on job location. The company will train the individual in safe work practices, safety procedures and specific trade skills.
Entry Level Laborer responsibilities:
· Participate in pre task planning
· Assist with keeping trucks and tools organized
· Assist lead technician with work efforts repairing and maintaining evaporative cooling tower systems.
· Be reliable, arrive on time, have good self-awareness when around customer and fellow employees.
Entry Level Laborer requirements:
· High school diploma / GED
· Valid driver’s license & social security number
· Reliable transportation to company location or jobsite if needed
· Ability to travel, work after hours if needed, weekends, overtime and emergency holidays if needed
· Ability to represent the company in a professional manner
· Ability to work in confined spaces
· Individual must be mechanically inclined
· Ability to lift 50 lbs.
· Must be able to pass a preemployment drug screening
