Job Description:
As a Driver/Turf Installer, you will play a key role in our operations, ensuring timely delivery of turf materials and assisting with turf installations on job sites. This is a hands-on role that requires both driving skills and experience with landscaping and turf installation techniques.
Responsibilities:
Drive: Safely transport turf materials, equipment, and crew to and from various job sites.
Install Turf: Assist in the installation of synthetic and/or natural turf for residential and commercial projects.
Equipment Operation: Operate basic landscaping equipment such as sod cutters, rollers, and turf-spreading machines.
Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, leveling the ground, and ensuring a smooth surface for turf installation.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service when on-site and assist in answering client questions regarding the installation process.
Safety: Adhere to safety protocols at all times when handling equipment and working on job sites.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Proven experience in landscaping or turf installation is a plus.
Ability to operate turf installation equipment and basic landscaping tools.
Physical stamina to lift heavy materials, work outdoors, and perform manual labor.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
Reliable with good time management skills.
Prior experience in driving a truck, flatbed, or similar vehicle is preferred.
Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
