Medical Assistants - PAIN & C-ARM EXP - Interviews next week!
Assist in patient examinations, preparing and positioning patients for diagnostic tests and treatments.
Assist in minor surgical and procedural tasks, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Operate and maintain C-ARM equipment, supporting physicians during imaging procedures.
Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
Perform laboratory tests and assist with specimen collection, if applicable.
Sterilize and maintain medical instruments and equipment.
Schedule patient appointments and assist with patient intake and registration.
Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist with patient follow-ups and provide instructions regarding care or treatments.
Coordinate with other departments, such as radiology, for imaging-related procedures.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred.
C-ARM training or previous experience operating C-ARM equipment is highly preferred.
At least 1-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical or healthcare setting.
Experience with diagnostic imaging procedures, especially fluoroscopic and C-ARM procedures, is highly preferred.
