We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing practice.
Responsibilities:
Perform clinical duties including vital sign measurement, patient preparation for examinations, and assisting the physician during procedures.
Administer injections according to physician orders and protocols.
Scribe patient encounters accurately and efficiently using ecW EMR software.
Manage patient flow, ensuring timely and efficient scheduling and check-in/check-out procedures.
Update patient medical records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens.
Maintain a clean and sterile examination room environment.
Assist with practice administrative tasks as needed.
Provide exceptional customer service to patients, both in person and over the phone.
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical setting preferred.
Experience administering injections a strong plus.
Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR), specifically ecW.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy.
Professional demeanor and appearance.
Availability to work weekdays and Saturdays.
Compensation:
Competitive salary commensurate with experience (range: $15 - $22 per hour).
