Qualifications

Positive interpersonal skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Well-organized with the ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately
Ability to operate point-of-sale systems
TABC Certification and Food Handlers Card Required
Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcoholic beverages
At least 1-2 years of previous experience working as a server in a fine dining outlet
Prolonged periods of standing and walking
Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds
Responsibilities
Greets Members and guests as they are seated at the table; ensures the table is clean and that utensils, napkins, and other needs have been provided
Answers questions regarding the menu items with the knowledge to Suggestively sell beverages and menu items
Takes food and beverage orders and informs the culinary team about any special cooking instructions/modifications
Delivers food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to Members and guests
Ensures that food is prepared correctly to the Member's and guest's satisfaction; returns incorrect or improperly cooked orders to the kitchen
Keeps managers informed of any issues that might affect the quality or timing of service
Collects plates and clears the table as Members and guests finish their meals
Presents dessert menus, suggests, and serves dessert, coffee, and after-dinner drinks
Assists with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area, set up side stations and performs assigned prep work
Performs other related duties as assigned
Complete all assigned pre-shift side duties promptly
Attends pre-service training (line-up meeting)
