Job Description:
Priceless Caterings is seeking a highly organized part-time Catering Staging and Inventory Specialist. This role focuses on coordinating and preparing all non-food items needed for our catering events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Coordination:
- Assemble and pack necessary equipment for events that are needed for the week
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and verify supplies and that is needed
- work from the invoice to determine what supplies are needed i.e chaffers, base plates, flowers, depending on the number of guests
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain and organize inventory.
- Order needed items and perform regular checks.
- Client Interaction:
- Confirm event details and address inquiries -great customer service.
- Additional Duties:
- Prepare lunchboxes, label items, and perform silverware roll-ups.
- Handle lifting and physical tasks as required.
Training Period:
- Attend events to understand logistics and equipment preparation.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read invoices and work orders.
- Excellent communication skills.
- must have your own transportation
- Proficient with online inventory management systems a bonus
- Previous experience in catering or inventory management is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Part-time, approximately two days per week to start.
- Flexible hours, requiring 5-6 hours each shift.
- More days required during peak months (November and December).
- Air-conditioned storage room provided.
- Some lifting and physical activity required.
