A+ Staffing is hiring an experienced hospitality and bar manager for the SMU 2024 Football season. Join our dynamic team at Gerald Ford Stadium, where we pride ourselves on delivering top-notch service, exquisite dining, and a vibrant atmosphere that elevates every event. This role is crucial in managing Game Day operations, leading our bar and suite service team, and ensuring that every guest leaves with a memorable experience. If you have a passion for hospitality, a knack for leadership, and a flair for creating exceptional experiences, we want to hear from you!

IMPORTANT NOTE: This role requires availability for ALL DATES listed below – no exceptions!

Schedule:

8/14 & 15 – MANDATORY Training (6:30pm-8:00pm)

8/31 SMU vs HCU

9/6 SMU vs BYU

9/21 SMU vs TCU

9/28 SMU vs Florida State

11/2 SMU vs Pittsburgh

11/16 SMU vs Boston College

11/30 SMU vs California

We do not have shift times yet, as the game times have not all been announced. Applicants should be flexible to work any time as needed on the days listed above.

Location: Gerald J Ford Stadium - 5800 Ownby Dr, Dallas, TX 75205

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management: Supervise, train, and motivate bar and hospitality staff. Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Operational Excellence: Oversee the Game Day operations of the bar and hospitality areas, ensuring smooth service and adherence to company standards.

Guest Experience: Enhance the guest experience by ensuring high standards of service, addressing guest concerns promptly, and anticipating needs.

Inventory Management: Manage inventory before, during, and after each game.

Event Coordination: Collaborate with client and event coordinators to ensure seamless service during game days.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor laws and regulations. Maintain a clean and organized environment.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a hospitality management role, preferably in a high-volume or sports venue setting.

Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Customer Focused: Strong commitment to providing exceptional guest service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $25.00 per hour, plus end of season bonus
